I'm Lucas Oberwager, a Computer Science student @ Northeastern and current Platform Engineering co-op at Philips.

  • Qurrent Inc. Summer 2023 & Summer 2024
    Redesigned Python codebase to be async (90% increase in speed), cut out >25% of the codebase, and automated builds/deploys (GitHub Actions + Cython).
  • Tilia Inc. Aug 2022 – Jul 2023
    Led wallet-ledger backend in Go, moved all metrics to Datadog, and built audit-log APIs.

I self-host everything I build on my own Kubernetes cluster, with metrics, alerting, and dashboards for every service. My cluster has a N/A% uptime over the past 24 hours. You can see more at uptime.lucas.tools.

Most recently, I pushed code to Oberwager/d2-live.

I am currently reading Iron Gold by Pierce Brown.
